ETHAN BANKS
Ethan started his competitive swim career at the age of 5 with the St. Clairsville Summer Swim Team. He had swam with Red Devil Swim Team becoming the MVP for 3 years and holds the 500 freestyle record.
Ethan has just finished his collegiate swimming career at Wheeling University. Earning degrees in Business and Criminal Justice.
Ethan is an assistant coach for the St. Clairsville High School Swim Team.
His favorite events are the 200 free, 500 free and 200 Backstroke.
STACEY BROWNBROCKLEHURST-ASSISTANT COACH/VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Proud mother of two little swimmers. Abby age 14 has been swimming for SCSST for 9 years and this will be Cece’s 6th year she is 9.
Stacey enjoys swimming now for exercise. She swam for Powhatan Summer Swim team for several years.
Stacey believes every child should learn to swim and have fun doing it!!!
This is a great recreational swim league and she is so excited to be part of it!!!
BRYAN MEEKS-ASSISTANT COACH
Bryan is a graduate from Ohio University. He swam in the St. Clairsville Summer League from age 9 until age 18. He has several years of experience with swim instruction from ages 6months to 14 years and still gives private lessons.
Bryan was a lifeguard at the YMCA in Elm Grove for 3 years and also spent 1 year lifeguarding at Belmont Hills Country Club.
Bryan enjoys playing music and going to the gym in his spare time. His other hobbies include: Sports, music, video games, Spider-man, traveling, and campfires.
KENDRA KENDLE-ASSISTANT COACH
Kendra is a homeschool mom of 5 from Bellaire. She has a bachelor of science in psychology and mathematics from Muskingum University and has worked in youth ministery and as adjunct teaching faculty, but mainly has spent her adult life raising children and volunteering with various youth organizations. She enjoys staying active with her kids and has spent a lot of years on the swim team sidelines. This is her second year helping coach.
CASADIE DIBETTA-ASSISTANT COACH
Casadie started competitively swimming with St. C Summer Swim when she was 5 years old! While swimming at St. C HS she made state all four years she placed 3rd once and 2nd three years in the 100 breast. She was MVP for four years and currently swims at Ohio University her favorite events are the 100 and 200 breast stroke and the 200 IM.
COACHES' CODE OF ETHICS
All of the above coaches have pledged to abide by the following Code of Ethics -adapted from the National Youth Sports Coaches Association Code of Ethics:
I will place the emotional and physical well being of my swimmers ahead of a personal desire to win.
I will treat each player as an individual, remembering the large range of emotional and physical development for the same age group.
I will do my best to provide a safe environment for my swimmers.
I will review and practice basic first aid principles as needed to treat injuries of my swimmers.
I will do my best to organize practices that are fun and challenging for all my swimmers.
I will lead by example in demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship to all my swimmers. I will respect all officials and other coaches.
I will provide a swimming environment for my team that is free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol, and I will refrain from their use at all youth sports events.
I will act with the highest moral character possible, I understand I am seen as a role model.
I will reinforce the self image of each player, I will be positive and constructive.
I will I will always remember that I am a youth sports coach, and that the game is for the children and not the adults!!!
